Mr. Seagars joins URS

Mr. Seagars recently joined URS as a Senior Marine Mammal Biologist with more than 38 years of experience in marine mammal studies and National Environmental Policy Act compliance. Mr. Seagars has been involved with marine mammal research and management in Alaska, California, and Russia. A 25-year Alaska resident, Mr. Seagars has participated in a wide range of marine mammal research and management projects including population assessment, contaminant studies, Section 7 consultations, incidental take regulations, Marine Mammal Protection Act permit reviews, as well as various Endangered Species Act issues. Mr. Seagars’ experience includes projects involving steller sea lions, ice seals, walrus, and Cook Inlet beluga whales.
