Be Wed Debuts As Alaska’s Premier Wedding Magazine
Launch party celebration scheduled for July 18th
ANCHORAGE, AK - July 16, 2013 - B House Publishing is excited to announce Be Wed, Alaska’s newest wedding magazine. The magazine’s debut will be celebrated with a launch party on Thursday, July 18th at 7pm, hosted at Bagoys Floral and Home (440 E. Benson Boulevard in Anchorage).
Be Wed was founded to showcase the exceptionally unique and modern elegance of Alaskan weddings. The premier Spring/Summer issue features exclusive editorial spreads highlighting trends in hair, makeup and fashion; do-it-yourself projects; as well as, an informative “Guide” section with expert advice on diverse subjects, including heirloom gift-giving, wedding day activities for children, and budgeting. In addition, the premier issue of Be Wed features recent Alaskan weddings, each with a signature style befitting the bride and groom. Each event was distinctively captured by one of Alaska’s top photographers, giving Be Wed readers a glimpse into the special details that set the occasions apart.
Contributors to the Spring/Summer issue of Be Wed include Tina Knight (“Mounted in Alaska”), Kelly Turney and Becky Green (“Alaska Pickers”), Chanda Mines (owner, Bagoys Florist and Home), Guy Conley (former head chef at Ginger restaurant), and Keri Riley (writer, backwoodsmom.com) among other industry experts.
Be Wed is a semi-annual magazine published by B House Publishing, LLC, a partnership between Jessica Steele and Camille Friend. Ms. Steele serves as the Editor in Chief of the magazine, while Ms. Friend serves as the Creative Director.
