Safelite's New Anchorage Warehouse Carries Largest Auto Glass Inventory in State
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Safelite AutoGlass® now offers the largest vehicle glass inventory in the state of Alaska after relocating its Anchorage warehouse to 1650 W. Northern Lights Blvd., Suite 3 (Zip 99517) on June 29. The new 18,000 square-foot facility in northwestern Anchorage nearly triples square footage and inventory on stock. The warehouse also offers a large service bay with the flexibility to work on six to seven vehicles at a time. This allows more customers to schedule same day or next day in-shop service. Mobile service continues to be an option for customers.
As the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, Safelite AutoGlass® strives to offer convenient and comfortable customer waiting areas. The new location offers free Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, complimentary coffee, and activities for kids.
Zeke Dexter serves as the general manager, overseeing 16 employees, including Richard Jarrett, technician manager; Misi Popoalii, warehouse lead; and Shannon Ryan, services manager. Dexter also is hiring new employees to meet the needs of the larger facility.
“We are thrilled to relocate our Anchorage warehouse to a new, larger facility that will help us serve the community in a much more convenient and quick manner,” said Dexter. “In addition to our Northern Lights location, we also offer another shop at 5650 Old Seward Highway will remain open as a service shop. We hope the Anchorage community will continue to turn to Safelite for all their vehicle glass repair and replacement needs.
