Occupational Safety and Health Review Board Sets Aug. 6-7 Hearings in Anchorage
JUNEAU, Alaska—The Alaska Occupational Safety and Health Review Board has scheduled two hearings in Anchorage to consider challenges filed by an employer contesting citations issued by the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development: Monday, Aug. 6 and Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Citations are based on alleged violations of state occupational safety and health standards filed by the Division of Labor Standards and Safety.
The hearings will begin at 9 a.m. each day at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Commission, 1016 West 6th Avenue, Suite 402 in Anchorage and continue as necessary.
Advance hearing notices are provided to all parties of contested citations. Board hearings are open to the public as required by Alaska statute.
