Native American Contractors Association Publishes Best Practices Guide
Washington, D.C. (July 5, 2012): The Native American Contractors Association (NACA), in a collaborative effort with the law firm of Perkins Coie, has published its 2012 Best Practices Guide. The guide will serve as a valuable tool for its members when developing and implementing compliance and ethics programs.
“As government contractors, NACA’s members take seriously the need for strong ethics and effective compliance programs within their businesses. This guide is designed to ensure that NACA members have the resources they need to continue to serve as responsible and ethical contractors.” stated NACA’s Executive Director, Kevin Allis.
First published in 2007, the guide was developed to serve as a manual for companies developing and renewing their compliance and ethics programs. The guide has been updated to ensure that the information is up-to-date and relevant for NACA members. The updates include regulatory changes to the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development program.
“This guide is meant to serve as a reference tool for NACA members,” stated Lance Morgan, Chairman of NACA. “It is meant to be on the desk and not on the shelf collecting dust.”
