FEMA Initiates NEPA Review Regarding Significant Changes to the National Flood Insurance Program
On May 16, 2012, the Federal Emergency Management Agency issued a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement evaluating the environmental effects of the National Flood Insurance Program both as it is currently implemented and may be modified through potential reforms. The deadline for submitting comments is July 16, 2012.
