Era Alaska to support Kodiak Pitbull appearance

ANCHORAGE -- Era Alaska announced today that it will lend its support to an appearance in Kodiak, Alaska by Miami-based entertainer, actor and record producer, Pitbull.

Pitbull (Armando Cristian Perez) is visiting the island following an online social media campaign with Walmart and Sheets Energy Strips that awarded a visit by the entertainer to the Walmart store that got the most “likes” on its My Local Walmart Facebook page. With more than 70,000 “likes” cast during the campaign, the Walmart in Kodiak won the appearance.
As a result, Pitbull, will visit the community, making an appearance at the United States Coastguard base and Walmart store in Kodiak on Monday, July 30 from around 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Era Alaska will provide tents at the event where the entertainer plans to meet with the community and Walmart associates.

In recognition of Pitbull, aka Mr. Worldwide, and his record label, Mr. 305, Inc., Era Alaska is offering a promotional fare for round-trip travel from Anchorage to Kodiak for $305 in conjunction with the event.
