TransCanada to Issue 2010 Second Quarter Financial Results

CALGARY, Alberta - July 21, 2010 - TransCanada Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada) will hold a teleconference and webcast on Thursday, July 29, 2010 to discuss its 2010 second quarter financial results.

Russ Girling, TransCanada president and chief executive officer, Don Marchand, TransCanada executive vice-president and chief financial officer and members of the executive leadership team will discuss second quarter financial results and company developments in a teleconference and webcast at 2:30 p.m. (MDT) / 4:30 p.m. (EDT).
