Agency MABU Signs Independent Contractor Agreement With Knox
BISMARCK, N.D.: Agency MABU, a full-service marketing and advertising agency headquartered in Bismarck, ND, recently announced the signing of an Independent Contractor Agreement with Allison Knox, owner of AK Communications & Consulting located in Anchorage, Alaska. Knox’s firm specializes in providing PR, marketing, and media relations to support various Alaska Native, non-profit, and tourism clients.
Prior to owning AK Communications & Consulting, Knox served as the director of public relations for Nerland Agency Worldwide Partners and manager of public relations and corporate communications for Cook Inlet Region, Inc. – one of the 13 Alaska Native regional corporations created under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Knox has served on several boards in Anchorage and was named to the “Top 40 Under 40” by the Alaska Journal of Commerce/Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. Allison Knox holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from NorthernArizonaUniversity.The teaming arrangement between the two companies will allow both to effectively target and deliver on projects for Alaska Native firms and federal government agencies. Currently, Agency MABU works with several government clients including the U.S. Army, Indian Health Service, and the U.S. Department of Justice. In addition to its headquarters in Bismarck, Agency MABU has affiliated consultants in Arizona, Colorado, California, Maryland, and Virginia.
