Wells Fargo names Harty as company’s first Alaska-based SBA business development officer

ANCHORAGE, January 23, 2014 — Wells Fargo has named James Harty as its first Alaska-based Small Business Administration (SBA) business development officer. Harty will work with Alaska small businesses to provide SBA financing options that best suit the needs of their business. 

 “We have seen tremendous growth in our SBA lending in Alaska,” said Todd Sewell, Wells Fargo SBA Pacific Northwest regional manager. “Jim will provide us with ‘boots on the ground’ to ensure the best possible experience for our SBA financing customers in Alaska.”

 Harty joins Wells Fargo after one year as a relationship manager for Key Private Bank in Anchorage where he specialized in family wealth management and business succession planning. He has more than 10 years of financial services experience. He holds a master’s degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma. Harty serves in the community as a youth soccer coach in Chugiak.
