Mongold named President of Mt. McKinley Bank

Craig Ingham, CEO & Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Mt. McKinley Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Patty Mongold to the position of President & Chief Operations Officer.

Born and raised in Fairbanks, Patty began her career at Mt. McKinley Bank as a Teller Trainee in January of 1976, making her the longest serving employee of the Bank.  During her time with the Bank Patty has worked in nearly every area of the Bank, gaining knowledge of the bank from the ground up.

As part of the Bank’s Senior Management team for the past several years Patty has continued to demonstrate the same hard work, dedication and team spirit that she has been known for throughout her career with the Bank.    The Board of Trustees has a tremendous amount of confidence in Patty and believes she will successfully lead Mt. McKinley Bank into the future.

In addition to her duties with MMB, Patty tirelessly volunteers for several non-profit agencies in the Fairbanks area and is a past president for the Sunrisers Rotary Club.

She was recognized in 2013 by the Girl Scouts as a “Woman of Distinction” and she shared the spotlight for the Fairbanks Daily News Miner’s Women in Business in 2012.

Mt McKinley Bank is the oldest and largest full-service local community bank in Fairbanks.  The Bank was established in 1965 and continues to be a leader in providing quality lending and depository services to the Interior of Alaska.  Mt. McKinley Bank operates three branches in Fairbanks, one in North Pole and one in Delta Junction.
