CFMA Chapter Lunch Meeting – Wed 1/29
Alaska’s Last Frontier Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association would like to invite you to attend the January monthly chapter meeting/luncheon. The event is being held at the BP Energy Center from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 29th. Instead of a guest speaker this month, the chapter will be broadcasting a CFMA webinar presented by Anirban Basu, chief economist for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
Basu has presented at numerous CFMA national events and spoke at the annual ABC dinner in Anchorage three years ago, and will be presenting the 2014 Economic Outlook. Those who have seen Anirban speak know how engaging and fact based his presentations on the economy are, those who have not seen him previously should take this opportunity to do so.
Lunch is provided, cost is $ 20 for CFMA members and $ 25 for non members. If you have any questions about CFMA or the luncheon you may contact Chris Pobieglo @ 907-274-4142. If you are not currently a CFMA member but are interested in joining, please contact Tamara Potter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guests are invited to attend and we encourage members to bring guests and expose them to the value of CFMA. Alaska’s Last Frontier Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association has 45-55 members that include accountants, controllers, attorneys, consultants, insurance/surety brokers, and anyone else with a professional interest in construction accounting.
