Amy Cook has joined Totem Ocean as Fairbanks Manager
January 20, 2014 - Anchorage, Alaska – Amy Cook has joined Totem Ocean Trailer Express (Totem Ocean) as Fairbanks Manager. Cook brings over ten years of shipping and logistics experience in Alaska. She most recently developed and managed commercial accounts in the oil and gas, mining and construction sectors at Carlile Transportation Systems. Before that, she was the Director of Northern Air Cargo’s Fairbanks Terminal.
Amy is responsible for all Operations, Customer Relations and Community activities in Fairbanks. Born and raised in Fairbanks, Amy is committed to the community and excited to be a part of a company that touches the lives of so many.
Amy received her bachelor’s degree in English from Lehigh University where she was a member of the cross country and track teams. Her interest in transportation and logistics started when load planning and managing helispots as a wildland firefighter for the Alaska Fire Service.
