January 10, 2014 – Anchorage, Alaska - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the world’s leading natural and built asset design and consultancy firm, has hired three project management experts in Anchorage to help clients plan, fund and build the infrastructure needed to accommodate the growing economy of Alaska. Increasing demand for energy and for port development in the face of new shipping routes through the Arctic Ocean opens up opportunities for ARCADIS to positively contribute to public and private projects throughout Alaska.
Together, Tony Salazar, Mark Griffin, AICP, and Le Griffin, Ph.D. bring more than 80 years of experience to help ARCADIS’ Alaska clients successfully manage and deliver major public and private capital projects. Their expertise will provide project delivery cost certainty, implementation of global port planning best practices, and expert program management leadership critical to positioning Alaska in the race to speed goods to market and safely provide greater access to natural resources in the Arctic.
“Tony, Mark and Le bring substantial management experience and technical expertise in natural resource, energy and port infrastructure projects they’ve acquired working in Alaska, Asia, Latin America, Canada and the lower 48 states to their new roles with ARCADIS,” said Roe Sturgulewski, operations leader for ARCADIS U.S. “We are proud to offer these senior management professionals to our local clients from our Anchorage office.”
Through the December 2010 acquisition of RISE Alaska, ARCADIS U.S. has been successfully managing major construction projects in Alaska for the past 18 years. ARCADIS has office locations in Anchorage and Fairbanks.
