AMC Engineers Wins National Lighting Awards
Anchorage, AK— AMC Engineers received three Illumination Awards of Merit for its exceptional interior lighting designs for the Alaska Scientific Crime Detection Laboratory, the Gateway Aquatic Center in Ketchikan, and the Kenai Library. The Awards of Merit were published in the November 2013 Issue of LD+A magazine.
The lighting design team for the Alaska Scientific Crime Detection Laboratory is Pat Cusick and John Hood of AMC Engineers and Tanner Clapham of Balmond Studio in London, England. The Alaska Scientific Crime Detection Laboratory's lighting design will be featured in the January 2014 issue of LD+A magazine.
The lighting design team for Gateway Aquatic Center and Kenai Library is Jessica Hannan of AMC Engineers, under the direction of the late Edward Peck. The lighting design for the Gateway Aquatic Center meets competition swimming pool requirements set forth by the Illuminating Engineering Society and the 2006 USA Swimming Rules and Regulations. The Kenai Library features a quartet of tubular skylights designed by ECI/Hyer.
