AGC Names Marler Assistant Executive Director

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Molly Marler has joined the Associated General Contractors of Alaska (AGC) as the Assistant Executive Director effective January 6, 2014.
AGC Executive Director, John MacKinnon made the announcement in December, 2013. He said, “Molly's energy and enthusiasm combined with her experience and knowledge of AGC, the construction industry and what drives our economy is a real asset to AGC and our membership; both for the present and the future"
Marler comes to AGC from American Fast Freight where she was a transportation consultant responsible for growing and maintaining a significant account base of customers needing freight solutions to move goods and materials from the lower 48 to and throughout the state of Alaska.
Marler has been connected with AGC staff and very active in the events for many years and was awarded the prestigious Stan Smith volunteer of the year award at the 2013 AGC dinner dance in November.
She is married to Scott Marler and the mother of MacKenzie 13, Gracie 9 and Connor 4.
Marler states “As an associate member volunteer with the AGC, I was always proud and eager to assist the staff, the board and my fellow members in supporting hard working Alaskans. The opportunity to continue working with these amazing people as Assistant Executive Director is truly an honor.”
