Cook Inlet Risk Assessment: Last Chance to Provide Risk Reduction Option Suggestions & Comments

1. Seeking input on DRAFT Consequence Analysis Workshop report - Due February 4
Attached, please find the DRAFT Consequence Analysis Workshop report based on input provided at the October 30-31 workshop and through a first round of revisions by the subject matter experts who participated in the workshop.  Please send your comments, edits, or suggested changes to ciracomments@nukaresearch.com by February 4, 2013.
2. Seeking Public Input on Recommended Risk Reduction Options - Due February 4
The Cook Inlet Risk Assessment Advisory Team is asking for public comments and ideas on ways to reduce the chances of accidental oil spills or to reduce spills’ impact on the area’s waters.
The CIRA website (see: http://www.cookinletriskassessment.com/index.html) includes a list of risk reduction options that proposed at past workshops as a starting point for making new recommendations or expanding on options already listed. A list of risk reduction measures set to be considered can be found at www.cookinletriskassessment.com. All public suggestions will be considered by the Advisory Panel at a late February meeting. Comments on existing ideas are welcomed as well. Suggestions can be submitted using the comment form on the website or by email to: ciracomments@nukaresearch.com by February 4.
Thank you for your interest in the Cook Inlet Risk Assessment.
