Earn College Credit at AFE 2013!

Earn one college credit this year at the 2013 Alaska Forum on the Environment through University of Alaska Fairbanks Bristol Bay Campus. The course introduces many of the ways science and public policy is presented across disciplines and how environmental data is collected and used. Course participants interact with environmental studies experts and policy makers from across Alaska by participating in AFE sessions and discussions. To earn credit participants must actively participate in conference activities for at least 3 days. This course fee is being offered at a reduced cost of $75 (normally $168) for registered AFE Participants! Information and course materials are provided at the UAF Bristol Bay Booth #24 or inquire at the AFE Registration Table. Poster Sessions - Jan 31st deadline
|
We invite interested agencies, Tribal governments, organizations, researchers, as well as individual participants to submit their projects to be displayed at the Alaska Forum on the Environment. Projects should be current, applicable and may include photographs, literature, and summary information on poster board. Suggested topics include: marine debris, community recycling projects, innovative clean up projects, invasive species, climate change research, emergency response, environmental regulations, fish and wildlife populations, rural issues, energy, military issues, pollution prevention, and contaminants.
