Sea-Tac and Portland International Airport Winter Weather Update 1/18/12


Sea-Tac Airport crews are keeping up with snow accumulation on the airfield. The runways are open for operation, however, some flights have been proactively cancelled by airlines. Please check flight information here online or with our airlines for delays or cancellations to your flight.

Alaska Airlines Travel Advisories

Unaccompanied Minors will not be accepted for travel to, from, or through Seattle and Portland during the NW Snowstorm Exception Policy Dates.

Alaska Airlines is providing the following options to reschedule or rebook flights without incurring the standard change fees. All rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares. You may also request a refund of your ticket.

Change fees waived if new travel is completed on or before January 22, 2012. Tickets must be exchanged by January 22, 2012.

If your flight is booked through Alaska Airlines Vacations, please contact the Vacations Desk at 1-800-468-2248 .

Despite wintery weather in the Portland area, most Portland International Airport flights are expected to operate today, but some flights are cancelled or delayed.

Please check your flight schedule before coming to the airport. Roads may be slippery; allow extra time to get to PDX and drive safely.
