Fairbanks, AK– In December 2011, Kendall Auto Alaska launched Kendall Cares, an ongoing initiative designed to give back and support the communities and customers Kendall serves. Kendall is a family-owned business and knows the importance of buying, living and giving locally.
Known for supporting dozens of groups and events throughout the year, Kendall Auto Fairbanks, as part of the Kendall Cares program, pledged to give $100 for every car sold during the month of December to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fairbanks. As a result, Big Brothers Big Sisters will receive $10,700 from Kendall Auto Fairbanks.
A formal presentation will be held on Thursday, January 26th at 4pm at the Kendall Toyota Fairbanks store at 1000 Cadillac Court.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters Fairbanks works hard to strengthen our community,” said Dave Shuttleworth, General Manager of Kendall Auto Fairbanks. "We believe in giving back to the community and it is our pleasure to support BBBS in changing the lives of children in the Interior."
