Healy Assists Renda on Transit to Nome

BERING SEA - The Coast Guard Cutter Healy directly assists the tanker vessel Renda through the Bering Sea ice Jan. 7, 2012.

The Seattle based Healy crew is on their eighth month of Arctic deployment and are escorting the Russian flagged Renda as it carries more than 1.3 million gallons of fuel to Nome, Alaska.
