Feb. 6              Priority 2012: Future of Natural Resource Development

Egan Center, La Perouse Room

Noon - 1 p.m.

Increasing oil production is one of the Anchorage Chamber's top legislative priorities for 2012.
At this Monday Forum, hear from Commissioner Dan Sullivan who will discuss Alaska's natural resource-related initiatives, including permitting reform, boosting TAPS throughput, natural gas and strategic minerals, as well as give a year in review for 2011.

Cost - Members: $21 ($25 at door), Students: $22, Non-members: $30

Feb. 13            Priority 2012: Alaska's Infrastructure Development

Dena'ina Center, Second Floor

Noon - 1 p.m.

Ensuring new and updated infrastructure for Alaska is one of the Anchorage Chamber's top legislative priorities for 2012.
At this Monday Forum, hear from Commissioner Marc Luiken who will discuss Alaska's infrastructure development, the Roads to Resources initiative and what projects are taking priority for 2012.

Presidents' Day

 

Feb. 27            Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project

Dena'ina Center, Second Floor

Noon - 1 p.m.

The Alaska Energy Authority has been authorized by the State of Alaska to develop the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project on the Susitna River. Learn more about this project, aimed at helping meet the future electrical needs of Alaska's Railbelt Region.
