Alaska Quake to Bring the Heat in Luau Fashion

Anchorage, Alaska – On January 21st, 2012 the Alaska Quake play host to the Colorado Cougars in an American Basketball Association (ABA) match-up. The visiting Cougars bring a two game winning streak to the table and will try to challenge the Quake’s three game winning streak. The game will take place at Begich Middle School in east Anchorage at 4:00PM.

The ABA is geared towards making games exciting, fun, and affordable for the whole family. The Alaska Quake, in its first season, has proved to bring just that. The Alaskan community is encouraged to come out and support the Quake on the 21st and take part in an afternoon of Luau Fun!

For Luau night, there will be fun games, food, and family events. The halftime show will include Hula Dancers and fans are encouraged to wear their black and yellow luau attire. There will be fun for the whole family! Tickets are $10 for teens and adults, $5 for kids 6-10, and kids 5 and under are free. Come out and support your Alaska Quake!

The Alaska Quake Basketball Team is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 2011 to use basketball to help build confidence and moral character based on sports principles.
