Alaska Gasline Briefing Today

• This afternoon we encourage readers to attend a briefing hosted by the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation.
• This morning we provided links to oil and gas pipeline issues in the US and Canada.
• Today, Alaska Airlines announced it was ejecting its over three decade old tradition of providing prayer cards on meal trays.  We suspect it may be a poorly constructed 'spoof' -- an textbook example of a "PR Boomerang" to demonstrate how to destroy marketing and sales and corporate reputation in one badly written email.  You be the judge.  (Tomorrow night the Public Relations Society of America - Alaska Chapter is hosting its 2011-12 Aurora Awards Banquet.  Could Alaska Airlines be demonstrating to PR colleagues how not to conduct an effective PR-Marketing program?)
