TekMate Receives National IT Managed Services Award
Award recognizes TekMate's rapid growth; IT firm selected from pool of more than 3,000 candidates
ANCHORAGE, Alaska, January 13, 2011 – TekMate LLC, an Alaska Communications Partner, recently received the 2010 Level Platforms Partner Comeback of the Year Award.
The Comeback of the Year award recognizes a single, worldwide Level Platforms partner that has shown significant growth within the last 12 months. TekMate was selected from a pool of more than 3,000 candidates.
TekMate more than doubled its managed services business since December 2009, becoming one of Level Platforms’ fastest growing partners.
“It is an honor to be recognized by our peers as a leading IT solutions and managed services firm. We take pride in continually improving our service and bringing added value to our customers by taking care of their IT needs so that they can focus on their business,” said Shawn Fuller, TekMate president and CEO.
“Managed services, cloud services and IT outsourcing are some of the fastest growing verticals in the IT industry. There were many strong candidates for this award. TekMate was a clear winner because of its investment not only in technology, but also in leading-edge service delivery. The commitment that TekMate has made to the evolving market as well as to its customers made it an easy decision for our panel,” said Dan Wensley, Level Platforms vice president, partner development and marketing.
"Alaska Communications is delighted to offer leading IT infrastructure and managed cloud-based solutions for businesses. This recognition is one more milestone in our commitment to quality," said Michael Wynschenk, Alaska Communications senior vice president, sales.
Alaska Communications acquired 49 percent of TekMate in 2010. Together, the two companies provide IT management services from the desktop to connectivity infrastructure.
