Rasmuson Foundation Announces New Staff

Anchorage – Rasmuson Foundation announces that Jeff Baird has joined its staff as program associate. Baird brings a unique background in law and journalism to his role advancing partnerships between the foundation and Alaska organizations.

Baird has most recently worked as a law clerk in the Alaska Court System in Anchorage and Bethel. Previously, he spent six years reporting for daily newspapers in North Dakota and Minnesota.

Baird graduated with a degree in print journalism from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., in 1998. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, in Minneapolis, Minn., in 2008.

About the Foundation

The Rasmuson Foundation was created in May 1955 by Jenny Rasmuson to honor her late husband E.A. Rasmuson. The Foundation is a catalyst to promote a better life for all Alaskans.
