Calista Corporation Welcomes Marcia Davis As General Counsel
Marcia Davis joins the executive leadership of Calista Corporation as General Counsel. Davis will work with the executive leadership team, the Board of Directors, and the subsidiaries to ensure legal needs and representation are met.
Previously, Davis served as the State of Alaska’s Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Revenue with responsibility for tax and natural resource issues. In the private sector, she worked as Era Aviation’s Vice President and General Counsel, and as Senior Counsel for BP Exploration. She also engaged in a private legal practice handling ANCSA corporate and natural resource matters.
“Davis’ extensive experience throughout Alaska will enrich both Calista and our region,” said Calista Corporation President Andrew Guy. “Her personal and professional values weave perfectly with Calista’s values of integrity, respect, teamwork, and service.”
Davis graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 1982. Active within the Alaska Bar Association, Davis currently serves as Corporate Counsel Chair and is on the Examiner’s Committee.
