CRW Engineering Group Adds Professional Civil Engineers


ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Erica Jensen and Steven Hebnes of CRW Engineering Group, LLC, recently received certifications as professional civil engineers in Alaska. CRW now has 25 registered engineers, meaning expanded professional services for local clients.

Jensen, who was named one of the New Faces of Civil Engineering by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2010, has six years of work experience. She designs roads and trails, and drainage, water and wastewater projects, primarily in Anchorage. Jensen holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

A former NASA intern, Erica’s most notable recent projects include the design of playground and site improvements to multiple Anchorage schools and the design of 72nd Avenue, 88th Avenue and the Independence Drive Extension.

With 10 years of engineering and construction experience, Hebnes has a strong background in construction management, fluids and geotechnical engineering design. He specializes in construction administration and inspection, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating and design for water, sewer and road projects in Rural Alaska.

Steven’s recent notable projects include construction assistance, procurement and design assistance for the Napaskiak Boardwalk, Pilot Point Sanitation Facilities, Gambell Water and Sewer Upgrades and multiple water and sewer projects in Bethel.

CRW now has 24 registered civil engineers, one registered electrical engineer, three registered professional land surveyors and a total staff of 56.
