For the last two years, Nerland Agency has teamed up with the Rasmuson Foundation and Foraker Group to encourage Alaskans who file for their Permanent Fund Dividend online to give all or part to qualifying nonprofit organizations.
Our concept, Pick.Click.Give., offers memorable mnemonics with a campaign message of empowerment - that one person can start a movement. If we all work together, we can make significant change in our state.
Last year Pick. Click. Give. raised $545,000, making it the second largest fundraising effort in Alaska. This year, we want to double this success.
Governor Parnell has just agreed to be in a PSA for Pick. Click. Give. this year. BP, Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and others are supporting print ads for the project. TV and public radio stations generously provide, on average, a match equaling or exceeding our total buy. “It takes a village” to get this important word out. Be part of the movement.
