Attorney General Unveils Crime-Related Legislation, Introduces New Cyber-Crimes Prosecutor
Anchorage, Alaska - Attorney General Dan Sullivan and other senior members of the Criminal Division in the Department of Law will hold a news conference on Monday, Jan. 18, to present crime-related bills that will be transmitted to the Legislature on behalf of Governor Parnell.
Much in the legislation relates to the governor's 10-year plan for drastically reducing epidemic rates of domestic violence and sexual assault in Alaska.
The attorney general also will introduce the attorney hired this week for the new position at the Department of Law focused on cyber-crimes prosecution.
