GCI launches no-contract mobile option, discounts plans

GCI has introduced a new no-contract option for mobile customers as well as new competitive pricing on data and mobile plans. Starting at only $30 per month, GCI customers can receive three times more data than with AT&T, plus unlimited talk and text.

“At GCI, we are always seeking ways to bring more value and savings to our mobile subscribers,” said GCI Senior Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Services Paul Landes. “With these innovative new plans, customers can save up to 57 percent each month, compared to other providers in Alaska.”

These new plans are now readily available to consumers as well as commercial customers. To qualify for the Device Discount, subscribers can bring their own device; pay full retail price for a new device; or choose to use GCI’s 24-month, zero-interest device financing option.
