Credit Union 1 Announces Community Support Fund’s 2012 Total
Anchorage, AK – February 4, 2013 – Credit Union 1 (CU1) is pleased to announce that its One for All Alaska Fund, created in 2011 as a vehicle to raise money throughout the state toward a yearly
community service focus, has surpassed its founding year’s total by 72%.
In 2012, the fund’s focus was “supporting Alaska’s youth.” Organizations that support this focus were chosen as beneficiaries in each community where CU1 has a branch. All donations remained in the communities where they were raised.
A grand total of $24,313.43 was distributed from the 2012 One for All Alaska Fund to the following organizations:
Stone Soup Group (Anchorage)
Wish Upon a North Star (Anchorage)
Literacy Council of Alaska (Fairbanks)
Girl Scouts of Kodiak (Kodiak)
Boys and Girls Club of Ketchikan (Ketchikan)
Office of Children’s Services (Soldotna)
FOCUS, Inc. (Eagle River)
Drugs Aren’t Wanted in Nome (Nome)
