Valerie Davidson, senior director of intergovernmental and legal affairs with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, and Karen Perdue, executive director with Alaska Hospital and Nursing Home Association, will discuss Alaska's role in Medicaid expansion and the impact it will have on businesses if the State decides to opt in, or out.
Davidson and Perdue will also give details of a recent study that looks at the economic impact of Medicaid expansion, the fiscal impact to our State as a whole and the potential savings or additional costs to employers.
