ANC Master Plan Update Working Group Meeting #3 

(Anchorage, Alaska) -- The third meeting of the Master Plan Update Working Group is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m  The meeting will be held at the CIRI Building, 2525 C Street, Anchorage, Alaska, 99503 in the first floor conference room.  The purpose of the third meeting is to provide information on the inventory of existing conditions at the airport and to discuss the forthcoming alternatives development and evaluation process. The public is welcome to observe the meeting, and if time allows, provide comments at the end of the meeting.   

The Working Group is a body of neighborhood, community, recreational, environmental, and business interest groups, and is one of many tools that will be used to gather public input throughout the Master Plan Update. The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities oversees 255 airports, 11 ferries serving 35 communities, 5,619 miles of highway and 720 public facilities throughout the state of Alaska. The mission of the department is to Get Alaska Moving through service and infrastructure.
