26 hours left on first Alaskan Rock The Post Crowdfunding Campaign


My sisters Amy, Cika and I would like to implore you to help us spread the word about ArXotica's crowdfunding campaign that ends 6:02 p.m. Alaska Time tomorrow, Wednesday February 6.
We are Alaska Markeplace seed-money babies, grown from the tundra up. It's true, though we benefitted greatly from the start-up funds for our R&D years, we financed our own manufacturing run of Quyung-lii (Cup'ik Eskimo for the potent one) through traditional lending practices. While we are still trying to make a foothold in the luxury skin care market, we are sitting on a wealth of source material, a few hundred pounds of post-extract botanicals that are used in our popular tundra bars. Hand-made, the 2.5 oz. bars sell like hot-cakes at many Alaska Native / American Indian venues, but they are costly and time consuming which doesn't enable us to offer wholesale pricing for villages and small tourist operations around the State.
We've budgeted for a high volume run improving our quality control and ingredient list with an American soap making company (there are few in the States, most toiletries are multi-nationals manufacturing in China.) We launched a crowdfunding project with Rock The Post, a new crowdfunding company, building their portfolio to be in league with the popularly known and established Kickstarter. We have managed to raise 52% on our own and with the help of an Arts Beat note in Sunday's Anchorage Daily News.
We are proud to have reached their goal of sharing our particular project in social media with the likes of Google+, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, but they can't successfully close out our project and process the donations unless we've reached the $14,000 mark. Donations are welcome but our Reward Levels offer really neat incentives, we 'crowdsourced' gifts from other Alaskan artists, so to speak.
