Sealaska EXTENDS Deadline for 2012-2013 Youth Board Advisor Application
Sealaska is accepting applications for the 2012-2013 youth board advisor position. Each year directors select a non-voting youth advisor to the board. The board seeks tribal member shareholder applicants who possess qualities of a young Native leader and exemplify the core Alaska Native values by which Sealaska operates.
The board recognizes that the newest generation of shareholders has much to contribute. Through the experience, participants will develop leadership skills. The maximum age for applicants at the March 30 deadline is no older than 29 years. The one-year term is June 2012–June 2013.
