March 5          Municipality of Anchorage Props & Anchorage School District Bonds

Dena'ina Center, Second Floor

Noon - 1 p.m.

As part of its series of educational forums about the upcoming municipal elections, the Anchorage Chamber invites members to learn more about the bonds and propositions that will appear on the April ballot.
Mayor Dan Sullivan will highlight the Municipality of Anchorage's Proposition package and Superintendent Carol Comeau will discuss the Anchorage School District's Bond package.

Cost - Members: $22 ($25 at door), Students: $24, Non-members: $30

March 12        Anchorage Mayoral Candidate Forum

Dena'ina Center, Second Floor

Noon - 1 p.m.

This forum will feature candidates running for the city's highest office: Mayor of Anchorage.
Candidates will respond to pre-picked and audience questions regarding Anchorage's business community as well as provide information on where they stand on the issues.


Confirmed candidates (as of 2/10/12) are: Mayor Dan Sullivan and Paul Honeman.


Cost - Members: $22 ($25 at door), Students: $24, Non-members: $30

March 19        Anchorage School Board Candidate Forum

Dena'ina Center, Second Floor

Noon - 1 p.m.

This forum will feature candidates running for Anchorage School Board seats E, F and G.
Candidates will respond to pre-picked and audience questions regarding Anchorage's educational environment, as well as provide information on where they stand on the issues.

Confirmed candidates (as of 2/10/12) are: Kathleen Plunkett (Seat E) and Tam Agosti-Gisler (Seat F)

Cost - Members: $22 ($25 at door), Students: $24, Non-members: $30

March 26        No Monday Forum

Presidents' Day

The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business organization with nearly 1,100 members representing roughly 63,000 employees.  For businesses interested in membership, annual fees are based on the type of organization and number of full-time year-round employees.  More information about the Anchorage Chamber and the "Make it Monday" forum is available at Anchoragechamber.org, or by calling 272-2401.
