Alaska Division of Insurance Begins Director Search
JUNEAU, Alaska - The State of Alaska’s Division of Insurance has begun the search for a new director.
“We are casting a wide net in search of a person with the industry knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this position,” said Commissioner Susan Bell. “We were very fortunate to have Linda Hall’s knowledge of the insurance industry and dedication for the past nine years.
With offices in Juneau and Anchorage, the 51-person Division of Insurance is part of the State of Alaska’s Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development. The division’s mission is to protect Alaskan consumers through regulation of the insurance industry. The core services of the division are financial oversight, licensing, compliance, investigations, filing approval, and consumer services.
