GCI Introduces First Prepaid Smartphone Plan in Alaska
ANCHORAGE, AK – General Communication, Inc is unveiling Alaska’s first prepaid smartphone plan. The GCI prepaid smartphone plan allows users to talk, text, surf the Web and check e-mail on select GCI Android smartphones without a contract.
Prepaid smartphone users will get unlimited network-wide voice, data, text, web, instant messaging and e-mail for $60 per month. GCI’s prepaid service is great for those smartphone users who want simple, straightforward, commitment-free wireless service.

As a special promotion during the entire month of February, prepaid smartphone users can buy one month of service and receive an additional two months of service for free.
Smartphones allow users to access even more features including applications, data, attachments and games than previous generations of cell phones.
