Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys Recruitment Bulletin
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys (DGGS) is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to fill a project-specific, short-term, non-permanent Analyst/Programmer II or Analyst/Programmer III position. The incumbent is to develop a Web-based "slippy map" map application that provides users with an interactive, graphical interface (map of Alaska) and basic text-search capability to find geologic-hazard map publications. The interface will display overlapping polygons, which relate to the outline of a geologic map.
MULTIPLE JOB POSTINGS
DGGS is recruiting for both an Analyst/Programmer II and an Analyst/Programmer III position (ID numbers 10-N11010 and 10-N11012). However, we will only hire one candidate depending on the selected applicant's training and/or experience. This recruitment is for the III level. Candidates who wish to apply at the II level must do so under that recruitment. Applicants may only be hired at the level for which they specifically apply.
