UIC Announces New Chief Financial OfficerChris Morgan has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC). Morgan has worked in accounting and finance in Alaska for more than 20 years, and has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, external audit management, government contract compliance, and board communication. His previous positions include Vice President of Finance for Harbor Enterprises, Alaska's largest independent petroleum marketing and distribution company; owner of A&F Solutions, a consulting company; and Chief Financial Officer for Arctic Slope World Services, a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. UIC is the village corporation for Barrow, Alaska. With over 1,500 employees, UIC is consistently ranked among the top ten Alaskan-owned businesses by Alaska Business Monthly's annual Top 49ers.
