Ferry Matanuska Departure Now Postponed Until 5 p.m., Today

Repairs are continuing aboard the ferry Matanuska at this hour. AMHS has cancelled the 11 a.m., departure from Sitka to Juneau today. Tentative plans now have the ship sailing at 5 p.m., once the repairs are completed and the ship is authorized to sail. The toll free number for the AMHS Central Reservations Office is 1-800-642-0066.
