Credit Union 1 Promotes Senior Vice President of Lending
Anchorage, AK – February 19, 2010 – Credit Union 1 is pleased to announce that Scott Butterworth, former Vice President of Lending, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Lending at Credit Union 1.
Originally from Oregon, Butterworth received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Portland State University in 1969. He then served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked at a financial institution in Oregon before moving to Alaska with his family in 1983. In 1988, Butterworth was promoted to Vice President of Lending at Frontier Alaska Credit Union, which later merged to form today’s Credit Union 1. Butterworth now has 27 years of lending experience at Alaskan financial institutions.
As Senior Vice President of Lending, Butterworth is responsible for all consumer lending, real estate lending, and collections at Credit Union 1.
