EIA Releases Historical Coal Production Data

You can now get detailed historical coal information by company, mine, and mine type for 1983-2011 from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).  In addition, EIA has used current MSHA data to update labor hours, coal production, and employment statistics for all years.
