Congressman Young Announces New Press Secretary

Washington, D.C.Alaskan Congressman Don Young today announced the following staff change in his Washington, D.C. office:

Mike Anderson has been hired to serve as Press Secretary in Congressman Young’s Washington, D.C. office.  Mike comes to Congressman Young’s office from Senator Lisa Murkowski, where he worked in her press office for the past two years. Originally from Anchorage, AK, Anderson received a degree in Political Science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  As Congressman Young’s Press Secretary, Mike will be responsible for internal and external communications and media relations. Mike is a graduate of A.J. Dimond High School in Anchorage.

“I am pleased to announce Mike’s addition to my office,” Rep. Young said.  “Mike’s knowledge of the state and commitment to serving fellow Alaskans, combined with a press background from Senator Murkowski’s office will make him a great fit in the office.”
