WHPacific Engineer, Hanson Earns Professional Registration
Anchorage, Alaska—December 19, 2011—WHPacific is pleased to announce that Julia Hanson passed the professional engineering exam for civil engineering in Alaska. Hanson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Saint Martin’s University.
Hanson is involved in roadway and drainage design projects specializing in roadway and roundabout geometrics. Her expertise has included hydrologic modeling and calculations in the preparation of stormwater management plans. Since transferring from WHPacific’s Olympia, Washington office last year, Hanson has been designer on a number of rural roadway projects.
Owned by NANA Development Corporation, WHPacific is an architectural and engineering consulting firm with offices in Alaska, and in six states throughout the western US. Engineering News Record magazine in 2011 ranked WHPacific No. 163 on its annual list of the Top 500 Design Firms in the United States.
