Santa Visits Remote Kodiak Villages

KODIAK, Alaska - Members of the Spouses Association of Kodiak and Santa Claus give gifts to children in the remote villages of Ouzinkie and Danger Bay on Kodiak Island Dec. 6, 2011. This is the 35th year for the Santa to the Villages outreach program and an Air Station Kodiak MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew provided a ride for Santa and his elves. KODIAK, Alaska — Members of the Spouses Association of Kodiak and Santa Claus give gifts to children in the remote villages of Ouzinkie and Danger Bay on Kodiak Island Dec. 6, 2011.

This is the 35th year for Santa to the Villages to bring Christmas cheer to boys and girls living in the remote villages of Kodiak Island.
