Lathrop High Schools Wins $10K Glee – Give a Note Prize

Lathrop High School is the winner of a $10,000 prize from the Glee – Give a Note contest.

The Glee – Give a Note contest is a joint project, created by Fox, Ryan Murphy (the creator of Glee), and the National Association for Music Education. These three are champions of music education and their goal is to support struggling music programs throughout the nation.

In order to participate in the contest, eligible schools created videos in the style of the television program Glee. Viewers voted for their favorite entries online and a panel of judges then selected final winners from the videos with the highest number of votes.

Glee Give A Note will support music education by awarding $1 million dollars in prize money to music programs in jeopardy throughout the United States.

Congratulations, Lathrop High School!
