Congressman Young Announces Upgraded Office SpaceWashington, D.C. - Alaskan Congressman Don Young is pleased to announce that Alaskans wishing to visit their Congressional office will now have a little more room to stretch their legs after their long flights to D.C. After over a decade in his current office, Congressman Young chose to participate in this year's lottery for office space, and based on his seniority in the House, was able to secure one of the two "super suites" offered.
"This is a great move for Alaskans as it should make things much more comfortable for our visitors," said Rep. Young. "Anyone who has visited my office over the past decade knows that on busy days the office gets very cramped, even forcing meetings to sometimes be held in the hallways. I like for my office to be a bit of a home away from home for visiting Alaskans and a place where they feel welcome. I hope that this new, more spacious, and comfortable office will enhance the experience for our visitors and encourage even more people to come visit us."
Congressman Young's new office address:
2314 Rayburn House Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20515
All phone and fax numbers and email addresses will remain the same.
To note: During the process of packing up the office, our staff came upon some really great pieces of history from Congressman Young's tenure in office. Look for those to be posted to our website in the coming week, after we get our new office set up. Additionally, the Washington, D.C. office will be closed on Monday, December 6th while we transition to the new office. We thank you in advance for your patience.
