Alyeska Resort to Run 2010-11 Ski & Snowboard Bus With Stops in Anchorage and Eagle River

December 13, 2010 (Girdwood, Alaska) – To make it as easy as possible to hit the slopes this winter, Alyeska Resort will be operating the popular Ski & Snowboard Bus for the 2010-11 season. The bus offers convenience and cost-savings for Anchorage and Eagle River residents.

New this winter, customers can purchase round-trip bus transportation and all-day lift tickets for one low price. The adult rate for the bus plus lift ticket offer is $65, and the cost is $50 for ages 18 and under, a savings of almost 20% off regular rates.

This winter, the Alyeska Ski & Snowboard Bus will start running Saturday, December 18, 2010 and continue Saturdays and Sundays through April 24, 2011. There will be no service on Christmas Day. Bus tickets can be purchased online at www.AlyeskaResort.com, at any Alyeska Ticket Office, or at the Carrs/Safeway on Huffman Road.

The bus provides one-way and round-trip transportation with convenient Carrs/Safeway pick-up and drop-off locations in Anchorage and Eagle River. In Eagle River, the stop is at the Carrs/Safeway location at 11409 Business Park Boulevard. In Anchorage, designated stops include Carrs/Safeway stores at 3101 Penland Parkway, 7731 East Northern Lights Boulevard and 1501 Huffman Road.

The Ski Bus is open to all ages. Round-trip fare is $20 and one-way fare is $15.
